Need for Speed Most Wanted was produced by EA, and they have generated an entire series of these excellent racing games for numerous platforms including consoles, PCs, and mobile systems like iOS and Android.

While the mobile version of this game doesn't offer the same open-world freedom as the console and PC versions of the game, it still provides the same gameplay and primary objectives. The player will have to complete races and other challenges while working against police who are trying to stop the races. The cops will use whatever tactics they can to stop the player, including road blocks, high-speed chases, and spike strips. The player must finish the challenges as quickly as possible in order to avoid the majority of the obstacles set up by the police.

The Need for Speed series has an excellent reputation for knowing what to put in a racing game, and Need for Speed Most Wanted continues to uphold that reputation thanks to its amazing 3D graphics, huge variety of drivable vehicles, and booming soundtrack that keeps the player invested in the action. While there are tons of different race varieties, the design of each race is fairly standardized in terms of design and creativity.

Like with most progressive racing games, the player will start with one of the slowest and cheapest cars in the game. However, that car can quickly be replaced or upgraded with money earned from winning races or challenges. New cars can also be unlocked, so players will want to spend time building their showroom of useable vehicles. Unlockable vehicles include the Hummer H1 Alpha, the Porsche 911 Carrera S, the SRT Viper GTS, and many others.

The driving controls in NFS Most Wanted are quite intuitive and simple. Players will use the accelerometer within their Android device to control the steering by tilting the screen, and that is the default control method for the game. It is also possible to opt for touchscreen controls instead, and there are certain controls that only exist on the touchscreen, like nitro boosts. While it might seem strange, the game automatically handles braking, gear-changes, and accelerating, so the player only really has to focus on steering. This makes sense because the game isn't meant to be a full driving simulation game, but instead it is only an arcade racer.

Anyone who is a fan of racing games should consider this title. Need for Speed Most Wanted is a great example of how well console and PC games can be ported to a mobile platform, and despite its limited shortcomings, many will find the gameplay to be addictive and highly engaging. Players even have the option of comparing their race results with others through online leaderboards. If you love arcade racers, give this game a chance.
